    AUTHOR'S NOTE

This is a novel, although the scientific revelations and some of the historical incidents described in this book are true. All the central characters are imaginary, and their behavior is of my own making.

When I mention the name of a politician, celebrity, or academic, it is the actual person that is meant, playing the part that has impacted or changed our lives. You will find real names of real people, some deceased and others vibrantly alive today.

There is no Azania and therefore no towns in it. I have chosen Harvard University as one of the settings for my story because of its well-deserved reputation as one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world.

Harvard designed the modern world. And it is from Harvard that the "cognitive" versus "affective" intelligence--black people "feel," and white people "think"--kind of theory began, leading to the infamous Bell Curve.

Although it is often denied or ignored, the hatred and racism portrayed in my book have happened, are happening, and are likely to continue to happen in the future. The impact of the events in this story as they unfold involve my imagination, deductions and surmise.

Conversations with the fictional characters, and many of the internal motivations laid out in the novel that drive historically known events, are the product of my imagination.

I would like to apologize for the use of the words "white," "black," "Negro," "Nigger," "Red Indian." I use them in an effort to explain events in their real perspective--our perfect world today.

I prescribe no cures, but can testify that I have endeavored to write the truth, in the form of fiction.

In general, the credibility quotient is this: if the scene deals with racism, it's a fact; if it involves romance, it is fiction; if it's outrageously unbelievable, it's a fact.
